Review on Old Palm Liquor

On Thursday night, me and my partner Holly visited the Old Palm Liquor in East Brunswick, Victoria after a friend of ours recommend it to us saying it was one of the best bars to visit to taste test African inspired wine. As it was our first time visiting, we wanted to make sure we visited on a busy night, and hopefully give an unbiased review.

We left our house, and arrived at approximately 8pm, the bar was very lively upon arrival. Since it was our first time going to a 70’s vibe bar we were very excited. The energy in the bar was very lively, we were taken to our seats promptly upon arrival, and we started off by ordering a France White Sparking Wine.

After approximately 5 minutes, our wines arrived, and it was really delicious, a perfect way to start the night. From then on, we continued to order drinks from the menu, making sure to try as many wines as possible. The majority of the wines were low intervention wines, that had been aged in amphora. After drinking a few different wines, we switched over to beers and spirits to end the night.

Some of the foods we ordered that night include the Beef Tartare, and grilled rockling. These were cooked on the spot and tasted delicious.

Overall, it was a really fun night, with my wife.
